Family Medicine Physician | Geriatric Medicine Fellow | Committed to Inclusive, Community-Based Elder CareDr. Joseph Laseter is an incoming Attending Physician at the Philadelphia Department of Health – Health Centers #9 and #5.Dr. Laseter is a board-certified family medicine physician currently completing a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at Emory University, with expected graduation in June 2026. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where he developed a strong foundation in comprehensive primary care and a focused interest in the care of older adults.His clinical and academic interests include the care of aging populations living with HIV and hepatitis, LGBTQ+ older adults, integrated behavioral health, and community-based models for aging in place. Dr. Laseter is committed to delivering evidence-based, person-centered care that addresses both medical complexity and social determinants of health in later life.
