   Extensive valuation experience having performed valuations of a wide range of private business interests, from small closely held companies to large conglomerates. The valuations have been for a variety of purposes including financial reporting, purchase price allocation, international taxation (FIRPTA), transaction pricing, and gift and estate taxation.Performed detailed valuations and related projects for a diverse mixture of assets in a variety of industries including electricity generation (solar, coal, wind, natural gas, hydro, waste-to-energy, fuel oil and waste-coal), electricity transmission, nuclear power, waste management, manufacturing and transportation. Appraised a variety of intangible assets including trade name, customer relationships, developed technology and in-process research and development. Developed and managed the execution of the national valuation specialist program strategy, including providing guidance to Deloitte valuation practitioners on client technical matters, documentation issues, and working effectively with Deloitte audit teams. Advised Deloitte Audit National Office leadership on matters involving technical valuation topics and the process to audit fair value measurements. Developed and presented numerous training sessions at events for both audit and valuation professionals within Deloitte’s U.S. Firms and Member Firms. Developed a variety of tools to improve and standardize the process of auditing fair value measurements, and inspected engagement team documentation related to their testing of valuations used for financial reporting.
