ABOUT JOSEPH HUARD
I\'m Joseph, happily married and father of three!I come from the mountains of Haute-Savoie in France! I studied engineering in Paris. Following a year as a volunteer in Peru in an orphanage in the Andes, I joined Décathlon in 2011 as a Product Engineer. After a successful experience as a Product Engineer (Winner of the Innovation Awards in 2012 with the Backenger bag), I turned to purchasing and supply for a few years, as an Industriel Buyer and Customer Procurement Manager for foam products. I then joined Chittagong, Bangladesh, for a first management experience as Heavy Stitching team manager: challenging and rewarding experience! Coming back to France, I acted as a Project Manager in Industrial Process (Heavy Stiching), helping to organize the split of Heavy Stitching and creation of all the Soft Equipment processes and tech centers. I myself became Process leader of the newly created Foam Process. After 4 years, I moved to Passy, closer to the mountains I love, as a Process leader for the Ski tech Center. I\'m now back to Lille, responsible for a wide range of products, spreading from wetsuits to climbing ropes and from lifejackets to umbrellas. In parallel, I kept a mission as HRP assessor, nourishing my social-responsibility streak.I have a responsible and creative spirit. I love having fun, thinking, trying new solutions and making decisions. I have a real interest in management, and nothing gives me more energy than a constructive monthly meeting where I see a teammate growing.I have a deep knowledge of design thinking and innovation theories, along with good technical know-how in numerous fields (physics, maths, thermodynamics, law, finance, geology, energy.)Passionnated about skiing, footbal and trail running, I\'m also a violonist, in love with classical music, history, litterature, fine gastronomy and good wine!
