Lead I&C commissioning input from FEED phase through construction, commissioning, and start-up, ensuring lifecycle continuity and safe project delivery.• Provide early commissioning and operability input during FEED to influence design decisions, reduce execution risk, and improve startup readiness.• Review and challenge control system architecture, ICSS philosophy, and instrumentation design to ensure maintainability and testability.• Define commissioning strategy, systemisation philosophy, and handover approach aligned with project execution model.• Support development of commissioning deliverables including procedures, system boundaries, test philosophies, and execution plans.• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure functional safety requirements (IEC 61511 / IEC 61508) are embedded early within design and procurement stages.• Lead interface management between engineering, automation vendors, construction, and operations to ensure seamless transition across project phases.• Provide technical assurance for I&C packages during design reviews, vendor documentation, FAT planning, and integration strategy.• Prepare commissioning scope, manpower planning, and resource requirements ahead of construction execution.• Oversee construction completion readiness, subsystem turnover strategy, and alignment of completions databases with commissioning priorities.• Lead execution of loop testing, cause & effect verification, dynamic commissioning, and integrated system testing during project execution phase.• Drive troubleshooting and technical decision-making during live commissioning and startup to ensure safe and efficient performance testing.• Support final handover to operations, ensuring full documentation, test evidence, and system reliability assurance.• Mentor commissioning engineers and technicians, establishing consistent commissioning standards and best practices.

Experienced Instrument Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the oil & energy industry. Skilled in Petroleum, EPC, Oil & Gas, Power Generation, in both maintenance and commissioning activities with extensive experience in both the workings of instrumentation and both analogue and digital controls via ICSS, SCADA RTU, PLC etc. Experienced with fire and gas systems, PCS, SIS, ESD and strong familiarity with SIF testing of equipment.
