ABOUT JOSEPH HARVEY
My name is Joseph Harvey and I am a freelance sports journalist who has focussed on rugby for the majority of my career. Beginning my career in 2018 while still attending the University of Derby, I have been able to contribute to publications such as The Sunday Times, The Sun, Rugby World Magazine, Rugby Journal and City AM. Additionally, I have been able to establish myself as a main contributor to online publications, Talking Rugby Union and The Rugby Network, as well as for competitions such as Major League Rugby, National League Rugby and Rugby Tens Championship. I have had a hugely rewarding career to date and have even been able to produce content for professional teams like Harlequins and the New England Free Jacks when called upon. More recently I was approached by Gallagher Premiership club London Irish to be their media columnist for their match day programme across the 2022/23 season, which I accepted. In the past I have also undertaken public relations work for international cinema screen manufacturers Harkness Screens, as well as Preston-based business advisors, haleys.
