Software Lead of Platforms.\\\\nResponsible for all phases of software development from initial architectural design, to development on both an individual and team basis, to SQA/DVT and ultimately to production line support for the finished product.\\\\n• Lead software engineer for all lighting projects.\\\\n• Used primarily ARM Cortex M0/4 MCUs (Freescale/NXP Kinetis) as well as exposure to MSP430, PIC, and ARMv9(iMX.25) microprocessors.\\\\n• Part of an Agile development team consisting of 2 week Sprints with weekly alternating Planning/Wrap-up meetings.\\\\n• Was heavily involved with hardware design oversight (schematic reviews) and decisions for each project I was involved with.\\\\n• Developed a Next Generation Colorlogic Accent light (Hayward Accent 80/40) utilizing 5 independent LED Boards being controlled independently by 5 NXP ARM Microcontrollers communication in sequence thru a Full Duplex serial interface. Each Micro monitored Temperature and Voltage conditions. If an over temperature or low voltage condition is detected the LED board would dim accordingly.\\\\n• Developed a Smart Relay and Smart IO Board which is used with the new Hayward VSOmni product allowing the Hayward line of Pool Controllers the ability to operate Pumps and Lights. Developed common boot-loader allowing all smart components to be field upgrade-able.\\\\n• Developed common smart component infrastructure which allows smart components to be rapidly developed to communicate with Hayward\'s Pool Controller.\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
