Regional lead for south, managing a team of planners covering LLD for cityfibre full fibre network and BDUK. Working and advising external design partners who produce designs and quality checking their work. Also involved in use of QGIS to produce new designs when required. The role also involves quality check of new HLD’s and auditing design amendments proposed by both design partners and the city planners. Auditing patching requests and fibre testing to ensure right first time installs.
