About Joseph E. Griesedieck
After spending several years of my post-college time in professional formula car racing, I moved full time into the brewing industry in the late 1960\'s, ultimately become president and a director of the Falstaff Brewing Corporation where I spent 13 years. Later, after a brief tenure as group vice president with Alexander & Baldwin, Inc, I entered the executive search profession in 1979 with Russell Reynolds Associates. I later joined Spencer Stuart and served for 19 years with the firm, ending my tenure as chief executive. I joined Korn Ferry in 2004. Joe Griesedieck is the Vice Chairman of Korn Ferry as well as Managing Director of the firm\'s Board Advisory practice in North America. With more than 40 years in the executive search profession, Mr. Griesedieck is considered to be one of the industry’s premier leaders. His primary focus at Korn Ferry today is on Board advisory and consulting, working with public and private company chairmen and governance committee chairs across multiple industries to assist them with Director and CEO succession, Director recruiting and Board Effectiveness Reviews He has assisted in placing over 200 Directors on leading U.S. public and private company boards.
