ABOUT JOSEPH D.

I have been very lucky throughout my life for so many reasons. I have had the honor of serving in the United States Air Force in duties ranging from flight to launching the most innovative and technologically advanced spacecraft the world has ever seen. In all my experiences, a few truths remain constant. If you know yourself and take the time to nurture and develop those around you, anything is possible. Because of these truths and what I have learned from others, I have enjoyed many rewarding high-level positions in large scale program development, acquisition, management, and execution. My personal and professional experiences have also taught me the following about myself:• I am an experienced, competitive, success-driven expert, able to manage programs and products from $1.5M to over $15B.• I have learned to love the challenge of a new task, focusing on key goals, and using creativity and innovation to bring solutions to enigmatic problems.• I can form, align, develop, and lead cutting-edge teams ranging from 10 to 200 dedicated individuals.• My extensive interpersonal skills build lasting relations with those I work and socialize with.• I continually seek to further develop myself and those around me. I have been able to learn from leaders, mentors, friends, enemies, and family. I continue to utilize the sum of their experiences and apply it to not only myself but the team, to make everyone better, more inquisitive, and more insightful. You have to continue to build these relationships so that the cycle never stops.But don’t worry, I like to relax as well.
