I am experienced drafter of 20+ years and if there is something that needs to be done, I am confident that I can do it or figure it out. I am the one people bring it to if they do not know what to do. I have both AutoCAD and Microstation/Descartes experience and I am proficient in both.I have experience in other fields of work and management of teams. I have worked in the power industry now for 11 years and it is something I feel there is always room to grow in knowledge and understanding. I am a quick learner and a lover of standards. If there are standards it makes my life a happy one. If not, I am always desiring to bring order to the chaos. I like creating standards and protocol for things to keep order. I want to be as efficient as I can be. If I can do it once instead of twice, then that is the way I like to go.

My job is to put together Electrical design packages utilizing the standards that the company provides, and we currently have been in a big transition between one software and the next.Substation Physical Design packages include the Overall design on the property, the plan views and section views. the Grounding plan and detail sheets. The Conduit plan and details. The foundation plan and details. All of the standard sheets related to the steel, fasteners, templates and any design modules pertaining to specific pieces of equipment. The manufacturing sheets and any outside designs that require quotes.I have worked on packages from distribution to high voltage. 345kv is the highest voltage I have worked on.I can coordinate with the other disciplines to make sure my package has everything that is needed to produce a complete physical package.
