About Joseph Damitio
I am currently a Master of Science in Financial Engineering student at Columbia University taking courses in quantitative methods, financial theory, and programming. Before beginning my Master\'s program, I worked at Deloitte Tax LLP for five years in their global transfer pricing practice. At Deloitte, I assisted dozens of clients across industries with various technical transfer pricing issues, and was able to develop a deep understanding of how these businesses functioned. I also learned and practiced valuable leadership competencies, particularly as I transitioned to a managerial role. While working, I passed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level I Exam, and I plan to continue this program at the conclusion of my financial engineering studies.I believe my combination of technical, professional, and leadership abilities makes me a unique candidate for roles in the financial industry and beyond. I am interning at Lazard Asset Management as a risk management intern and am seeking full time roles to start upon my expected graduation in December 2024.
