As General Counsel of Buyers Edge Platform and its affiliates (the \"Companies\") Joe is responsible for the legal affairs of the Companies and serves as legal advisor to the Chairman/CEO, CFO, the Board of Directors and the Companies\' management teams. Joe manages and supervises the Companies\' contracts with its employees, manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, strategic partners and various third parties and vendors. The General Counsel also oversees litigation, intellectual property matters, compliance, and risk management. Finally, as the Companies\' chief legal officer Joe is actively involved in negotiating, drafting and executing strategic acquisitions designed to strengthen the Companies\' brands and market presence. As VP of Strategic Relations, Joe serves as a member of the Companies\' leadership team and takes an active role in defining and executing a strategic path for the Companies\' continued growth. This includes identifying strategic targets for acquisition, partners that will help the Companies achieve their goals, as well sources of financing/investment to fuel the Companies\' various growth strategies.
