With 25+ years in public service, I bring a dynamic blend of leadership, operational strategy, and community-driven impact. In my current role as Battalion Chief, I lead a 38-person shift across five stations, with a focus on performance, coordination, and operational readiness. I’ve managed over $5 million in federal and state grant funding and continue to ensure compliance, fiscal integrity, and measurable outcomes. I’ve also overseen a $19–20 million payroll and maintain ongoing oversight to ensure full adherence to the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).My experience spans a wide range of Incident Command System (ICS) roles across local and multi-state deployments, including serving as Operations Section Chief and other key positions with the Kentucky Incident Management Team. I’ve led complex disaster response operations involving more than 1,500 responders, working in coordination with FEMA, KYEM, and Homeland Security. Beyond emergency operations, I founded the Covington Partners Fire Mentorship Program, helped secure funding for school safety initiatives, and led culturally responsive disaster education efforts in rural Alaska. My leadership philosophy is rooted in values, service, and continuous growth — focused on building resilient systems, adaptive teams, and equitable outcomes in every environment I serve.
