Joseph works as a Digital Asset Accountant & Auditor with a focus on Web3 & Blockchain Assurance.Joseph specialises in applying traditional audit, accounting, and risk frameworks to blockchain, crypto assets, and decentralized systems. Proficient in UK GAAP and IFRS, Joseph brings deep expertise in financial reporting, controls, and assurance and translates it into the Web 3.0 environment—covering digital asset accounting, on-chain transaction analysis, smart contract risk, and blockchain-based financial activity.Joseph bridges established accounting standards and audit methodologies with emerging crypto and DeFi ecosystems. Focused on delivering next-generation digital assurance by combining to support transparency, compliance, and trust in the digital economy.Additionally, Joseph is working as part of a small team with Crypto UK on the public consultation with HMRC to advise on whether Stablecoins – especially those used for payments should receive different tax treatments from other Cryptoassets to reduce administrative burdens and support the UK’s digital asset strategy. Previously, Joseph worked as a Senior Associate 2 for PwC, servicing clients primarily in the Technology, Life Science and Climate Tech sector. Alongside his role, Joseph was part of the people leadership team for the Reading office.Joseph is an ICAEW Chartered Accountant and holds numerous financial qualifications. Including first-class degrees in Economics & Investment Banking.
