About Joseph Blanka

I am a Program Supervisor at Sephardic Jewish Community Center, where I direct weekly after-school and Sunday sports, STEM, and art programs for hundreds of children. I also organize local day trips to excursions, including Broadway shows, carnivals, and trampoline parks. I have a BA in Biology from Brooklyn College, and I am currently pursuing a JD in Intellectual Property Law at Cardozo School of Law, where I expect to graduate in May 2026. I have a keen interest in philosophy, biology, and training, and I hold an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.In my role as a Program Supervisor, I hire and place staff, organize and prepare technology and art projects, and coordinate teams and locations for sports events. I enjoy working with diverse and talented people, and I value collaboration, creativity, and innovation. I am passionate about providing enriching and fun experiences for the children, and I strive to create a safe and inclusive environment for them. I also leverage my EMT skills to ensure the health and safety of the participants and staff. I believe that my background in biology and law, as well as my skills in philosophy and training, can bring a unique perspective and value to the team and the organization.
