   As the Distribution Center Manager at IPEX USA LLC, my primary responsibility is to ensure that the daily operations of the distribution center run smoothly and efficiently. This involves overseeing everything from receiving products, managing inventory, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment, to making sure shipments are delivered on time.I lead and manage a team of warehouse staff, focusing on their training, scheduling, and performance to maintain a safe and productive working environment. Part of my role is also to ensure that our inventory is well-organized and properly tracked, minimizing overstock while ensuring we have what we need to meet customer demands.In addition to staff management, I work closely with logistics and transportation teams to make sure products are delivered on schedule, coordinating with vendors and customers to streamline the distribution process.Safety and compliance are top priorities for me. I implement and enforce all safety procedures and ensure the distribution center operates within company and regulatory guidelines to minimize accidents and maintain a safe workspace.I’m always looking for ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs. By analyzing performance metrics and identifying opportunities for process improvements, I help optimize productivity in the warehouse. I also manage the budget for the distribution center, keeping a close eye on costs and reporting on key performance indicators to ensure we’re operating as efficiently as possible.Using technology like our Warehouse Management System (WMS), I track and manage inventory and orders more effectively, ensuring accuracy and improving the overall flow of operations.At IPEX, where we manufacture and distribute thermoplastic piping systems, my role is critical in ensuring that products reach our customers on time and in perfect condition, which is key to maintaining our high level of service and customer satisfaction.
