About Joseph Ahern

I am currently the managing partner of Ahern Kill. Our firm is devoted to helping businesses and organizations with their governance, transaction and litigation needs. We also assist individuals with their estate planning and trust needs. I am member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Oakland County Bar Association. I am admitted to practice in both the Michigan and Wisconsin state courts, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, the United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin, the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States Tax Court and the United States Supreme Court. I have served on several Boards of Directors, including Advance Capital One, Inc,(as Chairman) a family of mutual funds; Bank of Birmingham; the Advisory Board for the Daughters of Divine Charity, a Roman Catholic Convent; the Mutual Fund Directors Forum Advisory Board, a national organization composed of independent mutual fund directors; and the Birmingham Athletic Club (my last year as President of the Athletic Club). I am currently on the Board of Buildup STEAM, a non-profit corporation that helps children heal through play and sparks an interest in STEAM. I am also on the Board of Total Network Manufacturing.
