About José Pedrosa Barreto Neto

Since 2003 in the oil and gas industry, I am an engineer with a passion for designing and delivering safe, efficient, and innovative solutions for surface and subsea well control equipment and subsea intervention projects. I have a master\'s degree in electrical engineering and a strong background in subsea intervention, subsea well source control, rig equipment integration, and project engineering. In my current role, I am involved in various aspects of well control equipment projects, from hardware design inputs, reliability assessment and improvement, control systems requirements, equipment stack up and testing, to interface management with drilling, completion, intervention and well servicing functional groups. Additionally, I support industry efforts participating in joint ventures and subcommittees related to well control equipment and source control.I also leverage my skills in project engineering, project commissioning, and project planning to ensure the projects are delivered on time, on budget, and within specifications. I enjoy working with diverse and collaborative teams to achieve excellence in engineering and operations.
