Directly or indirectly manage/supervise the Quality Engineers/Supervisors, assistants, Document Control clerks, Calibration Technicians, Quality Coordinators & other members of the department; as applicable.Review corrective actions (8D, 5why, etc.) from suppliers/customers, Internal, customer and supplier PPM’s.Initiate, recertify & maintain ISO 9001, ISO IATF16949, as well as other third-party certifications as applicable to the business. Lead the Quality System Internal AuditsBudget and salary review. Yearly team member reviews. Support PPAP group. Customer Relations within USA, Mexico. Incoming/outgoing quality, Internal Audits, support customer & system audits. Review manufacturing processes to help reduce quality issues.• Respond (Contain, 5why, 8D) reduce open customer complaints. coordinate/supervise directly or indirectly the Quality Engineers/Supervisors, assistants, Document Control clerks, Calibration Technicians, Quality Coordinators and other members of the department. Reduce External PPM and increase detection of internal issues.• Improve customer relations, all the quality performance indicators of the operation and improve internal departmental relations and communication.
