Before I recruited hospitality talent, I was hospitality talent.I started in Marbella, Spain, coordinating entertainment at four and five star hotels. Moved to Madrid and worked my way up through restaurants until I made GM. Opened and ran my own restaurant for three years. Supported operations in China without speaking Mandarin. Then I moved to New York with big dreams and started over as a server assistant.Humbling? Absolutely. But I\'d argue you don\'t really understand hospitality until you\'ve rebuilt yourself from the bottom in a city that doesn\'t care about your resume.At Union Square Hospitality Group I went from the floor to Recruiting Manager, hiring across 20+ concepts. I placed 240 candidates in a single year, built the company\'s first virtual hiring event and doubled the hire rate at open calls, all while serving on the Diversity and Inclusion Council.I helped recruit the teams behind some of New York\'s most recognized venues including Manhatta, Ci Siamo, Gramercy Tavern, One Vanderbilt SUMMIT, and even the reopening of Marriott Marquis.Now at The Madison Collective I recruit salaried hospitality leaders for restaurants, hotels and private clubs across the US. Bilingual in English and Spanish.I apply a craftsman\'s mindset to every search. I don\'t match resumes to job descriptions. I\'ve run the pass during a 300 cover dinner.
