ABOUT JOSE L. MONTALVAN

30-YEAR MILITARY CAREER | SENIOR-LEVEL LOGISTICS & SUPPLY CHAIN PROFESSIONAL | PROVEN LEADER OF PEOPLE & PROJECTS | LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT & PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATION | SKILLED MENTOR & COACH | EXPERIENCED MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER | CERTIFIED YOUTH SOCCER COACH I have 30 years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain management, project development, Military recruiting (officer, enlisted, and prior service), and leadership. I have held senior-level management positions within numerous Marine Corps organizations. Currently, I am transitioning from the Marine Corps and seeking an opportunity in the civilian sector. My success is derived from my ability to leverage professional relationships, manage multi-department initiatives, develop partnerships, and achieve results through innovation and teamwork. I take a project from zero to full speed ahead, fostering a high-performing team and uniting senior management. My unique ability to build capacities of scale ensures fiscal responsibilities. Demonstrating leadership in the community and military is a top priority for me. I volunteer as a Youth Sports Coach at the YMCA and local soccer clubs, and I have contributed to Compassion International. Additionally, I serve as the Association of Naval Services Officers (ANSO) Marine Corps Service President and am a lifetime member of the Sea Services Leadership Association.Colleagues know me as an enthusiastic, resourceful, creative problem-solver and a driven leader with a zeal for creating very efficient project operations. I am interested in hearing from former colleagues, managers, and/or organizations about ways that I could contribute to achieving their goals and dreams.
