Source a diverse offering of coffee that meet rigorous sensorial and physical specifications for variety of products.Negotiate contract terms and implementing contracts directly with farmers, exporters, and importers. Extensive travel to visit sourcing partners in producing countries, conduct site visits at partner farms and mills, and structure seasonal purchases. Quality ControlOversee green and roasted coffee quality, implement recipe changes for brewed coffee, develop recipes for new brewing methods or products. Collaborate and train with Roasting team to evaluate roasted coffee daily for both production roasts of filter and espresso products. FinancialPropose and review sourcing strategy with company owners and CFO.Set pricing for wholesale, retail, and grocery coffee products. Manage supplier relationships to maintain consistent product availability and pricing.
