ABOUT JOSE ESCOBAR

I am a highly motivated and skilled software engineer with over 21 years of experience. I started my career in 2004 as a.Net developer and was part of a company that became a Gold partner of Microsoft because my software became certified in ISV. After that, I worked as a System Director at an agronomy company. I administrated the whole platform, migrated from a single server to three virtual machines, and developed three mobile apps to streamline the sales force, generate reports, and help agronomists. Also, I connected many devices, like (scales and rice selectors) to our main platform. From 2014 to 2020, I worked as a Project Engineer at Javeriana University. I implemented the continuous delivery process implementing Gitlab, changed how the team worked and developed the connection between services, always getting better performance.From 2020 to 2021, I worked for Cafeto, where I improved a module that allowed reading large data sources and converting them into flat files while balancing performance and resources. Currently, I am working as a JVM backend developer using Project Reactor and working with the team moving the services to microservices using different patterns.I am committed to achieving the best results and strive to carry out each activity effectively. I am well-versed in programming languages and am proficient in coding, testing, and debugging software applications. My strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and attention to detail make me an asset to any team. I am a collaborative, committed person with excellent communication skills and a passion for technology. I am continuously learning and growing to keep up with the latest developments.
