About Daniel G. Valdez
I am deeply invested in the intersection of health and psychology; I thrive at the crossroads of counseling, DEI, and neurological processing. As an Instructional Aide, I am currently in the heart of Downtown Oakland, CA and working under Envision Education at Envision Academy, where I\'m immersed in the world of education, mentorship, and professional development in behavioral/academic intervention. A L&S graduate of UC Berkeley (Psychology, Sociology, and Global Public Health), my experience spans behavioral social impact, neural cognition and clinical interventions, and leadership in DEI. I’ve worked on diversity-driven research and initiatives, strategic mentoring skills, and more — aimed at promoting equity and fostering sustainable growth. Currently, I am working towards building my skill set to solidify myself as a Clinical Psychologist. I am dedicate myself to my Psy.D. Clinical Psychology Program at The Wright Institute.
