Metro Crenshaw / LAX Corridor Westside Extension PLE 1 I-10 SBCTA Express Lanes Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA) Metro Crenshaw/Los Angeles World Airport (LAX) Transit Project ($2BN) Sr.Safety Specialist/Consultant Manager Currently providing safety oversight services during the day shift operations for construction of the extension of the existing Metro Exposition Light Rail Line which will serve Los Angeles, Inglewood, Hawthorne and El Segundo when completed. Duties include assuring adherence to Metro\'s Construction Safety and Security Manual to include Federal and Cal OSHA Regulation; assuring safety and security reviews relating to construction equipment, and traffic control; creating a “think safety” work environment with routine staff interface; preparing reports to Metro regarding site observations; and interfacing directly with Metro Construction Safety Management staff regarding any identified safety or security risks.
