About Jose Rodriguez
I am a fully qualified Licensed Surveyor (FL & PR PLS) with more than a decade of experience specializing in Heavy Highway Surveying. After graduating from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez (R.U.M.), one of the most renowned engineering colleges in the country, I began my career in Heavy Highway Construction at Prince Contracting. The combination of my technical skills and hands-on experience has allowed me to consistently deliver efficient and successful results on every project.As a professional, I am committed to upholding values and principles that set me apart in the field. I thrive in challenging environments, where I can leverage my expertise to solve complex mathematical and engineering problems to help achieve project goals. This drive and passion for overcoming obstacles is one of the aspects of my work that I truly enjoy.Looking ahead, my goal is to expand my qualifications by obtaining Professional Surveyor licenses in multiple states and to continue building a network of industry professionals to enhance my growth.Throughout my career, I have been involved in a wide range of high-profile Design-Build projects, including the US-27 (Barry Rd. to US-192) and SR-17 (10th St. S.) in Central Florida. I served as the lead Surveyor for the SR-15 (Hoffner Rd.) project and the OIA Orlando International Airport Storm Drainage Project. Additionally, I worked on the Savannah Islands Expressway Bridge project in Georgia and led the surveying efforts for Prince Contracting on the OIA MSE Walls project. I also oversaw the final phase of the Sand Lake SR482 project in Orlando, FL.Currently, I serve as the Survey Manager for Prince Contracting in the Orlando area, where I lead several key projects, including the SR417 Central Florida Expressway, Econ Trail in Orange County, and the Neptune Rd Osceola North and South County projects.
