About Jose Rivera

I am a dedicated member of the Next Generation Service Corps (NGSC), a program focused on developing leadership skills across the three sectors of business: nonprofit, private, and public. Through NGSC, I have gained valuable experience in cross-sector collaboration, problem-solving, and community-driven leadership. These skills not only prepare me for the business world but also help me grow as an engaged and responsible member of society.I am also an active member of the Hispanic Business Student Association (HBSA), where I connect with other Hispanic business students and expand my professional network. HBSA provides opportunities for community service, leadership development, and interaction with industry professionals—empowering members to grow both personally and professionally.In addition, I participate in Student Business Leaders at the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, where I continue to build leadership experience, strengthen business knowledge, and connect with fellow aspiring business professionals.I am honored to have received the New American University Scholarship as well as the NGSC Scholarship, both of which support my academic and leadership journey.

NGSC emphasizes cross-sector problem-solving, ethical leadership, and community engagement. Students receive hands-on experience through service projects, internships, coursework, and leadership training, allowing them to graduate as adaptable leaders equipped to address complex societal challenges.
