ABOUT JOSE RESTREPO
Video Editing Portfolio: joserestrepo9.wixsite.com/joserestrepoeditorIMDb: imdb.com/name/nm45•••12E-mail: j••••••••@me.comI tell stories. Sometimes on stage. Sometimes in front of a camera, sometimes behind it, and sometimes deep in the edit bay, staring at a timeline and wondering why a two-minute video has 30 hours of footage.Right now, my work focuses on post-production, assistant editing, and localization adaptation. I’ve worked with Media Arts Lab (MAL) and BeGrizzlee, handling workflow management, syncing, organizing, and making sure global content lands seamlessly across different regions. My toolkit includes Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid (Certified), DaVinci Resolve, and the full Adobe Creative Suite - basically, if it helps shape a story in post, I know my way around it.Before all this, I spent years on stage and screen as a professional actor, singer, and performer, working on Broadway, national tours, Off-Broadway, and in film and TV. That experience taught me how to understand performance, pacing, and how to make an audience feel something - skills that translate directly into my editing work.I believe in collaboration. In telling stories that matter. In making content clean, impactful, and (most importantly) delivered on time. If you’re looking for an Assistant Editor or Video Editor who gets both the technical and creative side of post-production, let’s talk. I’m always open to new projects and working with people who love what they do.SAG-AFTRA | AEA
