ABOUT JOSE MUNDENCHERRY

SHORT PROFILE I graduated in commerce with honours from the Calcutta University through St. Xavier’s College, Calcutta, after passing my Higher Secondary Examination of the West Bengal Board. I worked with Godrej and later went to the Gulf, exposing myself to various opportunities in the commercial field, enabling me to stretch my abilities and hone my skills. I am an active member of the Toastmasters International since an excellent forum that opened up a totally new horizon of possibilities to explore and improvise creatively my communication and leadership skills, qualifying me to achieve all the Toastmasters credentials, including the top coveted DTM award in 2002. I believe in upgrading and updating myself with knowledge and with this belief, I continued my education by taking Diploma in Marketing, MA in Psychology, ME Leadership Certification Exam (IBTA), UK. PG Diploma in International Business Operations. When I joined MA-English I fell in love with phonetics and I invented an easy bridge to learn and teach Phonetics in a pragmatic and a catchy manner to the novices and experts, through their mother-tongue. Recent trainings at St. Alphonsa School, Nagercoil, Tamilnadu, Bethany Central School, Haripad, Assisi Vidyaniketan, Kochi, etc. have proved the applicability of this methodology. I teach phonetics at SpeedWings Aviation Academy. I am a master trainer and my training experiences span over 25 years in the Gulf and in India, starting with the Church groups, Toastmasters, School & College Students & Teachers and Corporates. In Kerala, I am associated with various institutions - Little Flower Engineering Institute,(2) SpeedWings Aviation Academy, an Aviation College,(3) ASAP (4) ICT Academy of Kerala,(5) Schools,(6) Institute of Chartered Accountants of India,(ICAI)(7) Andhra Pradesh Ministry of Tourism,(8) Global Institute of Integral Management Studies (GIIMS),(9) Level-3 Edutech, Schools, I conduct a week’s training for the budding Tourist Escorts & Guides for the Andhra Pradesh Ministry of Tourism, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie. Besides these, there are various other institutes and corporates where I impart training as and when called for.
