Support the design, testing, and deployment of low-power autonomous systems as part of a multidisciplinary robotics team, with a focus on electrical engineering, embedded hardware, and Linux-based development.• Design and prototype custom printed circuit boards (PCBs) using KiCad, including schematic capture, and layout.• Assemble and debug hardware using precision soldering (SMT and through-hole), multimeters, oscilloscopes, and test equipment.• Source and select electrical components, including microcontrollers, sensors and connectors, ensuring optimal system performance and environmental durability.• Integrate microcontrollers, environmental sensors, and motor drivers with NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano Super Kit and LattePanda SBCs using UART, I2C, and SPI communication protocols for embedded robotics applications.• Develop Python scripts on Linux to automate testing, perform sensor data logging, and conduct long-duration stress tests.• Conduct environmental and thermal testing in sealed enclosures, monitoring system reliability and performance over 12+ hours.• Create and contribute to technical documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and standard operating procedures.• Collaborate in cross-functional design reviews and apply best practices in embedded systems design, robotics prototyping, and hardware/software integration.
