About Jose Luis Rodas
Verint isn\'t a household name outside of enterprise software circles, but we power customer engagement and contact centre AI for over organisations worldwide — including a big chunk of the Fortune 500. That means our cloud platform carries real production workloads for some of the most demanding customers on the planet.I lead the Cloud Platform team: 40 engineers across infra, SRE, developer tooling, and data pipelines. We run a multi-tenant SaaS platform on AWS, processing billions of customer interaction events per month. Reliability isn\'t a KPI for us — it\'s in the contract.We joined Verint through an acquisition two years ago, which means I inherited a patchwork of monitoring tools, alerting philosophies, and on-call runbooks from three different engineering cultures. Getting to a unified observability layer has been the defining challenge of my time here.Currently focused on: finishing our tooling consolidation, building a self-service observability layer for product teams, and rolling out LLM observability as we ship more AI-powered features into production.
