WORK HISTORY
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist @Serial Therapist
Hayward, CA, US
I am a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, fluent in both English and Spanish, dedicated to fostering positive change through the lens of counseling psychology. A proud graduate of Santa Clara University, I hold a master\'s degree with a dual emphasis on marriage and family therapy, as well as health psychology. With over 8 years of professional experience, my journey has been enriched by working closely with adolescents, at-risk youth, and adults facing severe mental health conditions. For the past 5+ years I have been working with the adult SMI population but I am excited for a change and currently wish to work with adults and couples going through life transitions, or career and relationship obstacles, as well as with individuals battling with mild to moderate symptoms of depression, anxiety, and OCD. I also do trauma related work and would like to help individuals overcome trauma, whether they meet criteria for PTSD, or not, since trauma comes in many ways, shapes and forms, and it should all be acknowledged. Driven by a genuine desire to make a difference, I am dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate the complexities of their lives, fostering growth, resilience, and meaningful connections. My therapeutic approach is a harmonious blend of evidence-based modalities, including CBT, EFT, ACT, Person-Centered, and Narrative Therapies. This unique fusion allows me to offer a comprehensive and tailored perspective to those I serve.
