The BAF’s Webmaster is in charge of maintaining website for AAF Boise. The Webmaster isultimately responsible for ensuring that the website is easy to navigate and that it addressesthe needs of AAF Boise and its members. Although the Webmaster sometimes assumes therole of web designer, the main job of the Webmaster is to monitor, improve, and update theperformance of the existing website. The Webmaster is a strange and varied beast, somethingof a jack-of-all- trades. The role demands an attitude that supports self-help, constant upskilling, and a vigilant eye on technology.My Key Responsibilities included- Designing organization web pages, encompassing graphics, animation, and functionality- Keeping articles and historical data up-to-date on the site- Developing web page infrastructure and applications with advanced graphics and features- Monitoring web server and site technical performance- Implementing search engine optimization strategies- Promoting the organization’s website online to enhance its visibility within the web community- Circulating efficient and accurate reports detailing the results of each web marketing campaign and potential improvements- Advising the board on improvements, results, competition, and new technological directions to support brand marketing- Posting jobs on the BAF website.
