   Member of the Side Closures Engineering team, developing structure components for Rivian vehicles, overseeing vehicle architecture, and supporting component release throughout the program lifecycle. Collaborating with body engineering, studio design, and suppliers to ensure structural integrity, optimal performance, and advanced concepts for future programs.Responsibilities:⇛ Collaborate with body engineering, studio design,and customer experience teams to develop Side Closures structure components for Rivian\'s vehicles.⇛ Responsible for overseeing Vehicle Architecture anddesign within the side closures area, ensuring structural integrity, occupant package targets and optimal performance.⇛ Support component release for closures system components throughout program lifecycle, including:concept design, supplier engagement, BOM management, systems requirements, simulation analysis, prototyping builds, validation testing, and production support.⇛ Coordinate design between Rivian and suppliersincluding CAD packaging, subsystem or component requirement development, and any off-the-shelf content or fastener selection.⇛ Support the development of best practices for CADmodeling and PLM to CAD engagement through Enovia.⇛ Engage in debate and discussions during all bodydesign reviews as a stakeholder and representative ofside closures.
