ABOUT JOSE GREGORIO URRUTIA

José Gegorio Urrutia nació en Lima-Perú. Estudió en el Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colón,Argentina -Director Mario Galizzi y en el Conservatorio Nacional de la ciudad de Ginebra,Suiza -Director Gilbert Mayer, Paris Opera. Ingresó a la CND en el 2002 -solista en el 2006, fue miembro del Ballet de la Opera de Leipzig como solista hasta el 2012, ingresando nuevamente a la CND como primer bailarín ese mismo año. Forma parte del staff en la creación del Mexico City Ballet como director artístico en el año 2013. En el 2014 bajo la dirección de Bridget Breiner pasa a formar parte del Ballett im Revier hasta el 2019, año que ingresa como parte del Badisches Staatstheater en Karlsruhe-Alemania.José Urrutia was born in Lima, Perú. He studied at the Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colón, Argentina -Director Mario Galizzi and at the National Conservatory of the City of Geneva, Switzerland -Director Gilbert Mayer, Paris Opera. He joined the CND -Compañia Nacional de Danza in 2002 -soloist, in 2006 was a member of the Leipzig Opera Ballet as a soloist until 2012, entering back into the CND as a principal dancer in the same year. Forms part in the creación of Mexico City Ballet as Artistic Director. In 2014 under Bridget Breiner direction, is part of Ballett im Revier. He is currently a dancer in the Staatstheater in Karlsruhe-Germany.
