My research focuses on computational molecular dynamics of phase transformations in steels. Phase transformations are modeled through the implementation of a mathematical model which describes the deformation gradients and boundary mechanics in between two phases. Here we can study the micro-mechanics of atom-to-atom interaction. Areas of interest within this research are: Elastic behavior, crystal plasticity, magnetization effects, alloying, dislocation networks, and relation to experimental results.
