I am currently working in the Department of Advanced Robotics (ADVR). My research field is focused on wearable assistive robots for rehabilitation and industrial applications. I am the Scientific Project Coordinator of the XoSoft EU Project and Principal Investigator of a project funded by INAIL (Italian Workers\' Compensation Authority).

ABOUT JESÚS ORTIZ

PhD in New Automobile Technologies, University of Zaragoza (2008). I worked as a researcher in the Area of Transports and in the Area of Mechanics of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Zaragoza. In 2004 I was guest professor at the “ENSI de Bourges”. From 2006 I am working at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) and I am currently the head of the Exoskeletons Lab (XoLab) at the department of Advanced Robotics (ADVR). My principal research field is industrial exoskeletons and soft wearable assistive devices. Previous research experience includes motion bases, driving simulators, teleoperation, telepresence, teleexistence, virtual reality, GPGPU computing and medical robotics.
