My primary responsibility at Gorgias is developing the Chat Widget, a product that facilitates seamless and efficient customer-to-merchant communication. This widget is rendered on our merchants\' stores and is loaded by over 300M+ unique visitors each month, supporting a continuous active traffic of more than 20k simultaneous chat conversations, both live and AI-automated.I work extensively with technologies such as React, Node.js, TypeScript, Websocket, Python, PostgreSQL, and Playwright. My role also involves managing streaming systems (GCP Pub/Sub, Kafka), caching solutions (Cloudflare), and a variety of operational technologies including Terraform, Docker, docker compose, Kubernetes, Sentry, and Datadog.
