About Jori MacNaught
I\'ve spent going on 15 years helping teams do something surprisingly hard: think together.I\'m a Human-Centered Designer, Facilitator, and Researcher based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Through MacNaught Consulting, I design and facilitate workshops, training programs, research engagements, and collaborative experiences for teams and professionals across industries. My goal is always the same: foster the kind of psychologically safe, creatively alive space where real thinking — and real outcomes — can happen.Over the years, I\'ve had the privilege of: Teaching 4,500+ students a human-centered design discipline across 80+ organizations. Training and certifying 65+ new instructors and facilitators in HCD and CX. Designing workshops, journey maps, service blueprints, prototypes, and train-the-trainer programs for teams ranging from Fortune 500s to federal agencies. Co-leading Facilitation Lab Grand Rapids, a facilitator community in West Michigan.I\'m a LUMA-certified practitioner, facilitator, and instructor, a certified Mural Collaborator, and a PMI Wicked Problem Solver, and I hold a Masters in Marketing Research.Honestly? I\'m also a proud nerd who believes that play, joy, delight, and imagination are some of the most powerful forces for good in any room — including workshops and classrooms. I run two fantasy and sci-fi book clubs, am active in tabletop roleplaying game and blood on the clocktower social deduction communities, and firmly believe that food is love (to the point where I might bring baked goods or energizing snacks to your offsite).If you\'re a fellow facilitator or HCD practitioner, I\'d love to connect and swap stories and tips.
