ABOUT JORI CHYKERDA
Hello! I’m Jori, the Director of People, Culture & Operations at Impact HR. I bring over a decade of experience in human resources and leadership, working across a wide range of industries including tech start-ups, automotive, First Nations organizations, non-profits, health care, oil & gas, transportation, and finance. My role is a mix of HR consulting, strategic advising, project management, and team utilization analysis. I also lead workplace investigations and facilitate our training programs. One of my proudest contributions was developing our 3-day Respectful Workplace Workshop in 2023, which is now widely delivered to organizations across Western Canada. I’ve worked closely with executive teams to lead HR projects and shape people practices that are practical, effective, and aligned with business goals. I’m passionate about building thoughtful policies, systems, and strategies that support both performance and culture. I hold a Diploma in Human Resources Management from NAIT (2012), a Strategic Leadership Development credential from Norquest College (2022), and an EDI Certificate through NAIT (2023). I’m also a CPHR Chartered Member and committed to continuous learning. I approach HR with a personal touch, aiming to make a positive difference for the individuals and organizations I support.
