Financial reporting & Month-end close:• Prepare and distribute monthly plant financial statements and management reports.• Complete journal entries, accruals and reconciliations for inventory, scrap, and COGS.• Support full end-to-end, month-end, year-end close, including journal entries, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and income statement preparation including Intercompany.• Manage high volume financial close cycles for multiple business units, meeting tight deadlines while ensuring compliance with corporate reporting standards.Cost Accounting & Analysis:• Perform daily & monthly variance analysis on material, labor, and overhead costs.• Maintain and update product standards costs in ERP systems.• Provide recommendations to improve cost performance and reduce waste.Inventory Management:• Oversee and reconcile inventory balances; monitor excess, obsolete and scrap inventory.• Coordinate and validate physical inventory counts.Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning:• Assist in the development of the annual operating budget and periodic forecasts.• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate cost saving initiatives, capital projects, and process improvements.• Partner with operations leadership to track and report progress against financial plans.Business Partnership & Process Improvement:• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to identify operational inefficiencies.• Lead financial analysis for continuous improvement projects and productivity initiatives.• Support enhancements to ERP and reporting systems to improve accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
