   As an employee in the maintenance department at my college, I was responsible for a diverse range of tasks that included managing inventory, overseeing maintenance systems, and assisting school staff and students with their facilities-related needs. In my role as an inventory manager, I maintained accurate records of all equipment, tools, and supplies used by the maintenance department. This involved tracking inventory levels, ordering new materials as needed, and ensuring that all inventory was properly stored and accounted for. I was also responsible for overseeing maintenance systems, which involved monitoring the condition of campus facilities and identifying areas in need of repair or maintenance. This required me to be highly detail-oriented and to have a strong understanding of facilities management best practices. In addition, I frequently assisted school staff and students with their facilities-related needs. This included responding to repair requests, providing guidance on facility use and maintenance, and working closely with other departments to ensure that all facilities-related needs were met. Throughout my time in the maintenance department, I developed strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. I am confident that these skills, combined with my experience in inventory management and facilities maintenance, would make me a valuable asset to any office or facilities management team.
