About Jorge Gallardo
I\'m currently a Lead Cyber Systems Architect on the Department of State Diplomatic Security Cyber Missions contract that requires a strong understanding and insight into emerging technology security. With over 26 years of experience in Cyber Security Engineering, Information Assurance, and Information Policy, I have the skills and knowledge to design and implement secure, efficient cloud solutions for various sectors and organizations within the Department of State.My current goal is to grow a Cloud Security Architecture group that enables the use of cloud services from different providers, such as Azure, AWS, and Google, while adhering to the frameworks of the NIST family and CMMC 2.0. I also leverage my expertise in Cyber/Computer Forensics and Counterterrorism, which I obtained from my Master of Science degree and my publications, to enhance the security and resilience of Diplomatic Security cloud infrastructure and applications. I am passionate about delivering innovative and reliable cloud solutions that support the Diplomatic Security\'s mission and vision. Due to changes in Federal security posturing, my areas of focus now includes OT Security, taking AI Security to the next level and building foundational solutions utilizing cloud infrastructure to support automation across different posts around the world. This includes helping across CNSS to leverage Emerging Technologies while helping mature policies, baseline and assessments.
