About Jorge T. Baste

Hello my name is Jorge T. Baste. I am a Registered Health Underwriter and a member of the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals. I served as President of the Miami-Dade Association of Health Underwriters from 2016 to 2018 and was awarded The 2017 Recruiter of the Year as well as a The 2017 Special Service Award by The Florida Association of Health Underwriters. Through my hard work and determination in the early part of my career, I was honored to receive a letter of recognition from Governor Lawton Chiles in 1996 for outstanding contribution to the CHPAs(Community Health Purchasing Alliances). My career was further enhanced by working as a life insurance agent and registered representative(Series 6 & 63 License) with The New York Life Insurance Company were I developed a passion for protecting life\'s most valuable assets. I have also served on the Agent Advisory Councils for several insurance companies. My background for the last 25+ years has been in helping businesses and organizations of all sizes in numerous industries implement, maintain, and change their employee benefit plans to achieve their specific goals. I have also helped incorporate business and personal life insurance policies that address specific needs (key person insurance/family & income protection/estate tax insurance) and assisted individuals and families with medical, dental and vision insurance. I enjoy the challenge of finding strategic solutions which help keep that which is important insured. I look forward continuing to be of service to all I have worked with over the years and welcome the opportunity for new mutually beneficial relationships. More recently I expanded my career in 2021 be serving as Sales Director for the Latino Division with SureBridge/The Chesapeake Insurance Co. and as of May of 2023 as the Sales Director for the Hispanic Market with United Healthcare The Chesapeake Insurance Co. and United HealthCare the Golden Rule Insurance Co. This has allowed me to serve Hispanic/Latino Marketing Organizations and agents so they can reach higher and fulfill their true potential by providing them with support, training and inspiration.
