ABOUT JORGE BARBEITO VAZQUEZ
Jorge brings extensive experience and expertise as a lead designer, with a focus in complex master planning projects within holistic international teams across the UK, the Middle East and Africa.Jorge is an architect and urban designer with over 18 years of global experience, from single-team assignments to large-scale, multidisciplinary projects both across the UK and throughout the world.As an Associate Director in Arup’s Cities, Planning and Design team, he leads city-scale projects working across the disciplines of architecture, urban design, planning, engineering, transport and sustainability.His expertise lies in masterplanning for new developments, regeneration in urban areas confronting significant growth and expansion, and developments focussed around meaningful delivery of infrastructure, capturing the value for both the public and private sector. Prior to joining Arup, Jorge gained significant experience working with various offices in Spain and the Netherlands. Most recently, he returned to London after a seven-month project in the Middle East but remains heavily involved in projects across the UAE and Saudi Arabia (KSA).
