I’m Jorge Ramos, a first-generation Mexican American Houstonian, Project Manager at United Airlines, and passionate advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion. With a background in education (M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction, Administration Leadership) and project management, I bring a unique blend of instructional expertise, operational excellence, and people-focused leadership. Over the past 3 years at United, I’ve successfully led initiatives that strengthened collaboration, streamlined operations, and empowered teams to deliver results.Beyond my role, I serve as Chapter Director of EQUAL IAH, where I’ve had the privilege of hosting impactful panels, collaborate with other BRGs, and partnering with community organizations. I\'ve had the opportunity throwing the first pitch at the Astros Pride Night game, being recognized by the Greater Houston LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce, and receiving the Outstanding Diversity Champion Award from the Houston Business Journal.My goal is to continue growing as a leader in project management and learning & development, bringing creativity, structure, and empathy to every team I work with. I believe success comes from lifting others along the way.
