I wear many hats in my current position at the California Department of Justice (DOJ), in the California Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division as the CJIS Forms Coordinator, CJIS Records Management Coordinator, and CJIS Bilingual Services Program Coordinator. I support the CJIS Division’s bureaus/programs, and management staff on a daily basis with form creation/update, Intranet/OAG/CLEW website edits, problem solve Intranet/OAG/CLEW website user experience, information bulletin (IB) review/routing/approval, record retention schedule creation/update, DOJ Research Center’s justice dashboard publications published on OpenJustice.com, document language translations, record destruction requests, and swim lane creation/update. Previously, as the Promotions Director for 106.5 The End (KUDL, Top 40) and ALT 94.7 (KKDO, Alternative). I built and maintained the radio station promotional and event calendars. I planned, managed, led and executed, promotional/events activities and special projects; I coordinated all aspects of promotions/events including vehicles and equipment; event budget; prizes/giveaways; signage; website development; print advertising and the physical appearance; talent participation; attended the events to manage on-site execution. I managed/curated all social media channels for KUDL and KKDO. I build and maintained business relationships/collaborations with various clients, such as Disney, Live Nation, local Sacramento business, Universal Studios, and the Golden 1 Center to name a few. I managed the yearly promotional budgets to insure sustainability and I was responsible for approving all purchases made. I created and built sales decks for the radio station promotions/events to generate revenue.Making a difference in my work is something that drives me each and everyday!
