About Jorge Saucedo-Daniel Ed. D.
Vision: Education and technology should be accessible to everyone. It is society\'s best investment. I see my work as a change agent leader to ensure that every person reaches their full potential, whatever that may mean to them. Dedicated to a high level of performance while managing multiple projects and priorities. Advocate JEDI and educational technology. Specialties: Collaborative leader, data analysis, data analytics, generative artificial intelligence, instructional designer, educational technology, project management, curriculum developer, marketing, and staff development. JEDI: A commitment to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) means recognizing and valuing the rich heritage that each individual brings inside and outside of the educational environment. I have experience working with K-14 leaders and developing professional development. Goals: One of my goals is to improve learning opportunities and access to technology in all settings. I provide an equity-minded and growth mindset in meeting diverse needs based on goals, histories, access to online and technology resources, and different starting points. Experience: With over fifteen years of hands-on leadership and mentoring experience as a director and former CTE coordinator and program coordinator for the county office of education, community college as an adjunct faculty member for career education, and computer information technology (CIT) courses, I have strengthened, supported, and taught an ever-increasing population of learners within multiple counties in Southern California. Furthermore, I have created pipelines and on-ramps for learners by significantly lowering the financial, cultural, and educational barriers with credit and noncredit programs, K-14 Information Technology (IT) pathways, concurrent enrollment, noncredit certificates, lifelong learning noncredit courses, workforce preparation noncredit courses, certificates, certifications, campus field trips, and college & career and financial aid & scholarship workshops, which have proven to expand student access and have become a vital stepping-stone for underserved learners when developing their full personal capacities in higher education. Positionality: My positionality addresses developing and implementing goal-oriented programs and outcomes. I actively promote justice, equity, diversity, inclusion (JEDI), social justice, anti-racism, and racial equity, and ultimately, become a change-agent leader.
