ABOUT JORGE RIVAS
He has over twenty-two years of experience working in project finance, including eighteen years at MIGA, plus four years in the oil industry of Venezuela. His background includes a Master’s degree in Business Administration, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has been involved in the negotiation and structuring of project finance transactions well in excess of US$5 billion, across several sectors, including infrastructure, energy, manufacturing, as well as capital markets transactions. He is currently a Senior Underwriter at MIGA with focus in infrastructure and Latin America.
