Asistencia a las familias que viven dentro del Distrito y que han migrado de sus países a comprender sistema de educación del estado de California; intérprete y traductor; vigilar que los alumnos atiendan regularmente a clases; educación de los padres en técnicas de disciplina y enseñanza; dónde y cómo obtener recursos y servicios prestados por parte de los gobiernos estatales y federales. Elevar la autoestima y motivar la educación superior a los varones de ascendencia hispanohablante; ayudar a los alumnos del distrito en general a enfocarse en sus estudios; que se propongan metas a corto, mediano y largo plazo. Transmitir la cultura Latinoamericana e Ibérica. Intérprete/traductor del inglés al español o portugués y viceversa.To serve as liaison between school, District, home, and the minority community; to involve parents of minority students in school and District programs, activities, and goals; to provide specialized biliterate support functions between a specified non-English speaking segment of the community and the school/District by interpreting and translating English/Spanish/English. English/Portuguese/English; and to direct parents with specialized needs to appropriate community service agencies for assistance. Provide accurate interpretive and translating services to ensure adequate communications with the community.
